Young Astronomer's Evening

Presentation Title:     Rockets, Shuttle and ISS 

The Rosse Observatory Pontefract will be hosting another young astronomer’s night.

If your child has an interest in astronomy or wants to learn about astronomy then we are dedicating the last Friday in every month for them to come and meet others and learn about our night sky.

A snack will be provided along with some fun activities.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and the cost is £4 per child.

Due to the popularity and increased demand of our Young Astronomers nights we are now operating a booking system to enable everyone to have an enjoyable experience. BOOKING is ESSENTIAL.  To book a place on our next Young Astronomer night please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   and state the number of children and the number of adults accompanying them. Please give name (first name and Initial is OK) and age of child(ren) so we can plan  and allocate groups to speed up the sign in process. If you have a stamp card please tell us how many stamps you have.
